Kids Learning Soccer
This instructional soccer program is designed to acquaint young boys and girls with the game of soccer, learning basic fundamentals such as kicking, passing, throw-ins, positioning and rules. A schedule is established only for the purpose of control. Standings will not be kept in this division. This league practices at the Swift River fields and plays most games at Swift River fields, with a few additional games scheduled in South Hadley and Granby. This program is developed to assure that each player benefits from participation and has fun!  This is an entry level program to introduce the very basics of the sport to girls and boys with the emphasis on fun.  The season runs for approximately six weeks. 

This program is open to residents of Belchertown and school choice students. 
Volunteer coaches and assistants will be needed to run this program.

Kindergarten division, co-ed (must be attending kindergarten or must be 5 years of age before September 1st, 2024) 
1st & 2nd grade girls division
1st & 2nd grade boys division.


All players registered before the deadline date will be placed on a team.

  • Saturday, August 17th, 2024
  • A $10.00 late fee applies to all registrations after the deadline
  • This program may start last week of August
