Archery, Fire & Fort Building

Use our traditional bows and targets, learn how to make fire with a bow and drill, and build forts out of materials found in the forrest.

Pack your day pack! Here’s what to bring –




  • nutritious lunch, snacks, drink & 1 quart water bottle


  • Sunblock and sun hat, as well as bug repellent are recommended (please be conscientious when applying)


  • Dress for comfort and movement, including for time in the woods; sneakers or hiking boots – no flip flops, sandals, crocs or open toed shoes.





NO registrations are complete until the Adventure In Adventure Out Liability Waiver listed below under links is printed, completed, signed and on file at the recreation department office. The form may be brought in during our office hours, mailed or dropped off thru our drop slot located on our side door.

Staff
  • Adventure In Adventure Out is proud to have highly skilled, trained and experienced staff who are professionals in the field of outdoor adventure education. Our staff has formal education and training in outdoor skills ranging from the certificate level up to Master’s Degree programs. Many of them have specialized skills and training in their favorite outdoor adventure activities and we match their expertise with the appropriate programs. All staff are required to maintain current certifications in CPR and Wilderness First Aid and have training in emergency care and rescue. Our leaders are passionate about mentoring and empowering their participants to make new discoveries, to learn outdoor skills and to gain a deeper appreciation and respect for themselves, each other and the natural environment.

  • A $10.00 late fee applies to all registrations after the deadline
