Paper Making

Put all those school papers to good use!  Turn them into beautiful, new paper!  In this class children will learn how to make decorative paper.  They will make paper pulp from a variety of natural materials adding pressed flowers and leaves to enhance the look.  Participants will also learn simple book binding techniques to turn their handmade paper into a special book of their own. All supplies included.

Registration Deadline
  • 5 days prior to the start of the program
  • A $10.00 late fee applies to all registrations after the deadline

Staff
  • Andrea Boyko has been creating, crafting, weaving, felting, dying, and sewing for years. Her specialty is repurposing - creating useful products (such as children’s shoes) from discarded everyday items. She is a certified teacher and brought her love of the arts to the children in the Springfield school system for over a decade. She was the Nature Director for several years at Camp Shepard in Westfield.
