Create Your Own Stuffed Animal

Ages - 4-6 - Children, with the help of an adult, will dream up, design and create their own original stuffed animal.  Through this process children will have fun using their imagination while the adults learn skills such as designing a pattern, sewing on buttons and hand stitching. Using various textile materials your creation will come to life.  All supplies included.

 Grades 2-6 - Children will dream up, design and create their own original stuffed animal.  Children will use various textile materials to bring it to life.  Through this process children will learn important lifelong skills such as designing a pattern, sewing on buttons and hand stitching. All supplies included.

Registration Deadline
  • 5 days prior to the start of the program
  • A $10.00 late fee applies to all registrations after the deadline.

Staff
  • Andrea Boyko has been creating, crafting, weaving, felting, dying, and sewing for years. Her specialty is repurposing - creating useful products (such as children’s shoes) from discarded everyday items. She is a certified teacher and brought her love of the arts to the children in the Springfield school system for over a decade. She was the Nature Director for several years at Camp Shepard in Westfield.
