4:30 PM - 7:30 PM    Baton Twirlers - Baton, Junior Oylympic Team - Session I
Intro to Twirling - This introduction to baton twirling is a great way for your kids to learn basic twirling skills, play games and have fun. This twirling session will help children with basic skills, develops eye hand coordination and learn tricks.    Junior Olympic Team - This competitive team will meet on Monday and Tuesday nights. These twirlers have expressed interest in competing at the Junior Olympics next summer. Twirlers will have opportunities to learn new tricks to strengthen their skills and will compete and perform. Competitive Team - This Monday evening class is for advanced twirlers to continue to learn tricks and strengthen their skills. At this level of twirling, there is the opportunity to perform and compete.   A Baton is needed and can be purchased from the instructor for a fee of $25.00

6:30 PM - 8:00 PM    Pickleball - Adults - Pickleball - Tuesday Evenings
Pickle ball is a paddle sport played on a badminton-sized court and can be described as a cross between tennis and ping-pong. It can be played as doubles or singles. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.  Sneakers are required. We will provide pickle ball paddles to beginners, returning participants are asked to provide their own paddle. Space is limited on a first come, first serve basis.OUR NEW COURT CELEBRATION Come join us for a day of fun at the Grand Opening & Pickleball Round Robin Meet to celebrate our new outdoor pickleball courts FROM 9:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday, August 17th (rain date Saturday, August 28th). The new courts are located behind Jabish Brook School. Access to parking is the entrances to Jabish Brook School on Springfield  next to the large pavilion. ROUND ROBIN MEET- There will be a round robin, non-competitive meet from approximately 9:00am to 12:00 noon. The round robin meet is limited to a maximum of 16 players.  POT LUCKFollowing the round robin we will celebrate with a pot luck lunch in the pavilion.  All are welcome to join the pot luck lunch. FREE LESSONSFollowing the pot luck, from approximately 12:30 to 2:00pm there will be free introductory pickleball lessons offered. If there is a group of players on the registration wait list, an additional round robin meet will be scheduled following our pot luck on one court from 12:30 to 2:00pm.All proceeds will go towards a wind fence for the new outdoor courts.

3:30 PM - 5:30 PM    Safe@Home - Safe@Home - Fall 2019
Safe@Home by Safe Sitter® is a program designed for students age 10-13 to prepare them to be safe when they are home alone. The program is designed to prepare students to care for themselves when parents are away for short periods of time. Safe@Home is a program that teaches students how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Students will also review a basic first aid, injuries and illnesses.Safe@Home is ideal for students that have expressed interest in assuming the responsibility of staying home alone. This program will be held after school at Chestnut Hill Community School in room 209. Participants are required to have a note from home to stay after school and asked to bring a snack.
