Beach Manager                                                                      
 
 Job Description:
The Beach Manager is responsible for the overall safety of all participants at the Town Beach. They will provide quality customer service to all patrons and be responsible for the cleanliness of the facility, inventory of supplies, and proper handling of cash and checks.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintains constant surveillance of patrons at the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.
  • Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.
  • Attends all staff meetings and training.
  • Acts in a professional manner at all times.
  • Ensures and assists with proper maintenance and up keep of the beach area.
  • Provide written reports on all incidents.
  • Conducts daily cleaning of restroom and changing faclilities and maintains proper upkeep throughout the day.
  • Stocks bathroom with hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper.
  • Monitors for theft in the location and reports incidents to the Aquatics Coordinator.
  • Operate a cash register.
  • Stock freezers and refrigerators.
  • Count, organize and balance the cash drawers following proper cash handling procedures; fill out the proper paperwork and drop off deposits to the Recreation office.
  • Report safety hazards discovered to Aquatics Coordinator immediately.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be familiar with menu items and and pricing to effectivaly complete financial transactions and answer questions from customers.
  • Completes work schedules for concession employees and lifeguards.
  • Ensures Time Sheets are completed by all employees, checked for accuracy and delivered to the Recreation Office.
  • Tracks inventory of all supplies.
  • Picks up and delivers food & supplies items to the concession stand.
  • Ensures water testing is completed once per week with results posted.
  • Complete any additional duties as assigned by the Aquatics Coordinator or Recreation Director.

  • Staff Shirt
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to self-motivate.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds.
