Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art used for centuries to relax the body and mind, improve balance and mental clarity, strengthen the body, increase stamina, decrease stress and enhance the overall quality of life.  It’s rhythmic movements establish a mind body connection that creates an overall sense of wellbeing similar to yoga.  It is good for people of all ages and physical levels.  It can be modified to suit the needs of an individual.  Tai Chi is a skill that will last a lifetime.

Shoshin Ryu Jujitsu blends traditional, japanese martial arts practices with self-defense based perspectives and training ideologies. The goal is to develop an individual that will demonstrate kindness, compassion, discipline, and respect, as well as the ability to de-escalate dangerous and potentially dangerous situations. Jujitsu will be held at the Recreation Center.  Weather permitting the class will be held outside in the back of the building. Every student receives individual attention in a safe and positive learning environment. Instructor Safe Sport Act trained and certified and CPR certified.  New Student Informational Video
